It's amazing how things can change overnight. I don't understand what the hell I was thinking all along. Seriously! where did I get off thinking that my feelings ever matter? I mean, looking back on it all, I was totally wrong. COMPLETELY wrong to be exact. You would think that by now, I would have learned my lesson but no, no, Kathy has to be the OPTIMIST when it comes to "love." I'm a pessimist in ALL other facets of my life but not with the freaking "l" word.

At least I got my tax return today.

Didn't get to watch You Got Served. Instead, rented Pirates of the Caribbean. I don't understand what all the hype was about. I didn't think it was that great. Actually, I thought the story was kind of dinky but I suppose that's to be expected since it was a Disney movie.

Weekend was good. Had a spat with someone but got it all worked out. Went to BratFest. I now know that my brat limit is 2. But I'm so proud of myself because I finished my WHOLE T-Bone steak. =) And I drank a glass and a half of wine without puking. AND!! I slept THREE NIGHTS without waking up in the middle of the night and coughing up my guts! Woo hoo! I'm getting better. Yes folks, this virus is leaving me.

I am not looking forward to the next two months. I'm hoping that this all works out. My grand plan to umm... become a professional. "Professional what" though is the better question. Oy... I hate thinking about the future or better yet, MY future.

Going back to Chicago this weekend. 'Tis the plan. I can't wait to see someone.
