i did minimal studying yesterday and no studying today. this does not bode well for my GPA...

in other news, i saw my nephew yesterday. the kid cracks me up. for some reason, he insisted on going to jewel yesterday with me. that was an adventure. i needed to pick up some lean cuisine meals since they're on sale, i'm too lazy to pack my lunch anymore and i'm also poor.

we're in the frozen food aisle, getting my frozen pizzas and he goes,"ooh! chicken nuggets! ahh ee, you should get the chicken nuggets." i explain to him that the frozen meal is not chicken nuggest but in fact fish and i don't want fish. his reply? "why don't you eat fish? you should eat fish. i like fish. i'm going to get this and eat it." i asked my nephew if he really was going to eat it and he was adamant that he was. at this point, he has already grabbed the frozen fish meal OFF the freezer shelf and thrown it into my shopping basket.

the girl in the aisle also buying lean cuisines was laughing at us. i would be laughing at me too. ridiculous. finally, i took the fish out of my basket and put it back in the freezer, grabbed another pizza and then we went to look at other stuff in the store.

mr. d. wang ended up getting me to buy him a pen that lights up. sadly, he figured out how to get it to flash and stop flashing before i did. (my nephew will definitely be smarter than me.) the pen was pink with little hearts that said "love" all over. he chose it because it was "pink and they didn't have red."

gotta love the kid. he's something....
