observations from today's career expo at school:

1) i go to school with a bunch of unprofessional idiots.
The number of people in jeans and sweats going up to people trying to get internships and jobs far outnumbered the people who actually wore business casual dress and looked professional, presentable and like someone you'd want to hire.

2) It's scary to have a giant retail pharmacy totally try to woo you. no joke. BUT! my soul has a price: $200,000.... and I don't think I'll get that as a starting salary.

3) 'Tis better to have 2 jobs and a B average than no job and a 4.0 GPA. THUS! I will be a super dork that much longer....

4) Whomever I talked with from ENH today was super impressed with my dream internship. *BEAMING smile*

5) My chances of getting a residency are not as dismal after all.... I just have to move to Indiana.

Oh! and to cap off this strange day, I got another job offer for an Epic position. This time, they didn't ask that I have my PharmD, just that I'm in the process of getting one. I'm actually entertaining sending a reply because the job's in Chicago and I KNOW I'd be getting $$$$. decisions, decisions...

off to try and teach myself renal therapeutics though. *gulp*
